Meet the team behind Queen City Bee Co.

Started in 2014 by (now) husband and wife team Carlier and Sally, Queen City Bee Co. beekeepers know honey bees practically better than they know themselves. Based in Cincinnati, OH, the Queen City Bee Co. beekeeping team is made up of dedicated beekeepers who are passionate about saving honey bees, raising and saving honey bees using sustainable methods, and sharing their honey bee knowledge with anyone who will listen.

Meet the Apprentice Beekeeper

In 2016, Queen City Bee Co. expanded our beekeeping team to include two dedicated beekeeping apprentices. Jeff has proven himself to be valuable members of the Queen City Bee Co. team through his drive, commitment and desire to learn all things honey bees.

Jeff Richardson
Beekeeping Apprentice
An artist and a business consultant with interests in botany and entomology, there's no wonder why Jeff signed up to be a beekeeping apprentice. Fascinated by the secret lives of bees and their vital role they play in food production, he was resilient to participate despite his childhood fears. Now he embraces getting bee stings. You can see his smiling face at the various farmer's markets and special events that Queen City Bee Co. is in around the Greater Cincinnati area!

Our Mission
